HafH-affiliated facilities in Wakayama prefecture are collaborating with HafH Community to plan and operate an “Art Vacation.”

Our company held an “Art Vacation” in collaboration with HafH-affiliated lodging facilities in Wakayama, “Guest Living Mu Nanki Shirahama” and “Artie Hotel Kii-Tanabe,” and HafH Community from October 13th to 16th, in conjunction with the Kinan Art Week 2022, held from October 6th to 16th.

◼︎It was a time to touch upon art and the local community while traveling and stimulate the senses.

During the first half of the event, we participated in the Kinan Art Week 2022.

Guided by the staff who organized the Art Week, we deepened our understanding of the culture and history of the Kinan region through interacting with artists from various countries, diverse works of art, and the local community.

In addition to that, we thoroughly enjoyed the charms of Wakayama, such as its food, nature, and way of life.

◼︎We transformed the inspiration gained in Wakayama into works of art.

During the second half of the event, each participant incorporated the inspiration gained in Wakayama into their art creations.

Not only did participants experience each other’s art fields, but those who do not usually engage in art creation also made works of art with guidance from the artists. Through art, various exchanges were born.

On the final day of the event, all participants completed their own works of art.

The completed works are being exhibited in the shared space of Guest Living Mu Nanki Shirahama until mid-November.

For those who have the opportunity to visit Wakayama in the future, please be sure to appreciate the art while staying at the accommodation.

KabuK Style will continue to pursue its mission of “creating an infrastructure for a society that accepts diverse values as they are” and promote its business in the future.
