“KabuK Style,” “Pasona JOB HUB,” and “ANA Sales” are collaborating.”

Collaboratively developing a “working while traveling” tour utilizing “HafH.”

KabuK Style Inc. (Headquarters: Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Co-Representative Directors: Kenji Sunada, Ryo Ose, hereafter “KabuK Style”), Pasona JOB HUB Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Koichi Morimoto, hereafter “Pasona JOB HUB”), and ANA Sales Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Junichiro Miyagawa, hereafter “ANA Sales”) have begun collaboration on December 6th (Friday) with the aim of solving the shortage of players involved in regional development due to Tokyo’s concentration and population decline and aging. The collaboration aims to promote the matching of urban talent with local companies and expand the “relationship population”*.

As the first initiative of this collaboration, we will offer a tour called “Nagasaki Marine Tech in HafH Nagasaki SAI,” which touches on the industry and culture of Nagasaki Prefecture, including the Nagasaki Lantern Festival and a sea tour of Battleship Island.

  • Relationship population refers to people who have diverse relationships with the community and its people, including those who have not migrated to settle down in the area, nor those who are just visiting as tourists. (Quoted from the “Relationship Population” portal site of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.)

KabuK Style’s concept is “Work while traveling the world.” They promote an environment where innovation can occur by connecting visitors from outside the area with local organizations and administrations through their world flat-rate residential service “HafH,” which serves as a venue, and by planning and coordinating with them.

Pasona JOB HUB’s concept is “Work like traveling,” and they provide a talent-sharing service called “JOB HUB TRAVEL,” which achieves freelance support, side job support, and “related population” creation by matching urban talent (JOB HUB TRAVELER) with small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas.

ANA Sales operates a travel planning service called “Journey+,” which supports companies, local governments, and individuals who work on solving issues such as business succession and regional community issues by arranging tours and providing travel assistance.

These three companies have collaborated to jointly plan and operate tours that not only allow participants to visit tourist destinations but also to utilize the co-working and co-living spaces registered with “HafH” to provide opportunities to learn about local businesses and organizations and regional issues, and to create new ideas for solving those issues. After the tour, Pasona JOB HUB will provide matching support for freelancers and other individuals who wish to contribute to the region in various ways while working in urban areas, regardless of time or distance.

Through this collaboration, KabuK Style’s “know-how on new ways of working centered on co-working and co-living” and “planning power,” Pasona JOB HUB’s “know-how on matching urban and rural talent for freelancing and side jobs” and ANA Sales’ “product planning and arrangement power utilizing ANA’s route airline network” will be leveraged to contribute to the realization of matching urban talent with rural companies and expanding the “related population.”

◼︎Collaboration overview Start of collaboration: December 6th, 2019 (Friday) Content: Joint planning and operation of tours to provide opportunities for participants to learn about local businesses and organizations and regional issues while utilizing co-working and co-living spaces registered with “HafH” and to create new ideas for solving those issues.

Participants will propose new industries that will lead to the next Nagasaki, while sharing challenges with Nagasaki Prefecture and marine organizations, touching on the innovation of “marine renewable energy” in new and old Nagasaki, and exploring the industrial heritage of the Meiji era.

Date: February 8th (Sat) to 10th (Mon), 2020, 3 days and 2 nights. A 2-day and 1-night plan and a seminar plan will be announced at a later date.
